Curtis also summarized the county’s prior and committed funding to the Somerset Humane Society in Skowhegan — $160,000 already granted toward a new building and an additional $100,000 committed — and said the Humane Society director will be asked to report to the Commissioners at an upcoming meeting on the status of the building project.
