Commission sets drainage hearings and approves local drainage permits

The McCook County Commission met as the Drainage Commission on Sept. 23 and heard drainage permit applications from Drainage Administrator Mic Kreutzfeldt. He confirmed downstream landowner signatures had been obtained for the applications presented, including one from George Weber.
The board set October 14 hearings at 9:45 a.m. for the George Weber matter and at 9:50 a.m. for Chase Family Farms. Kreutzfeldt told the board he had signed off on the applications and that permits are available for inspection at the Highway Department office.
