Commissioners accept resignation, promote Deputy Auditor and approve VSO offer

The Board accepted the resignation of the Deputy Auditor/Welfare Director effective June 5, 2026. On a motion by Commissioner Troy Nelson and second by Commissioner Corey Lundquist, the Board promoted Jennifer Krueger to Deputy Auditor/Welfare Director at Step A with a pay rate of $23.04 per hour and authorized advertising for the vacant Deputy Auditor position.
The Board also moved, on a separate motion, to offer the Veterans Service Officer (VSO) position to Travise Flisrand at $26.39 per hour and to approve an annual Vetraspect subscription at $500.00. All personnel actions were approved with unanimous votes recorded in the minutes.
