By telephone, Randall Knight, Garden City Fire District Board Chairman, updated the commission on a recently acquired lot and said site improvements will require approximately three feet of fill dirt at an estimated cost exceeding $100,000. Knight said he is pursuing Community Development Block Grant funding through BRAG and will attend required training.
