The Board accepted anticipated annual funding from the Imperial Valley Community Foundation totaling $100,000 to support a sustainable enrichment program across district schools.
Superintendent Angelita V. Ortiz informed trustees that the donation is received from the Community Foundation in the amount of $100,000. The Board voted 7–0 to accept the funds, which the minutes say will be deposited into Bill E. Young Middle School (BYMS) and Calipatria High School ASB accounts as well as district accounts according to annual budget submissions.
Trustees recorded the acceptance as an official action; staff will process deposits and align expenditures with the Board-approved budget submissions for enrichment program implementation.
