Board hears no public comment, adopts resolution finding instructional materials sufficient
Summary

The board opened a public hearing at 7:50 p.m. to determine whether each pupil has standards‑aligned textbooks or instructional materials in core subjects, including English/language arts (with ELD), mathematics, science and history‑social science. No members of the public spoke during the hearing, which closed immediately. Trustee Frank Perez moved to adopt a resolution finding materials sufficient; Trustee Patty Dockstader seconded and the motion passed by roll call, 7 ayes.
The district posted reference materials (Ref. VII F) and indicated that sufficient laboratory equipment for grades 9–12 and materials for foreign language and health classes had been evaluated as part of the review. The resolution is available in the meeting materials.
