At a public hearing on community development condemnations, council considered several addresses for condemnation and removal. Community Development staff told the council that one property—2053 Y Street—had been demolished earlier the same day and asked that it be removed from the condemnation list.
Chad Reed of Community Development told the council the owner and contractor had completed demolition work: “Spoke with the owner and the contractor, and the house was demolished and completed today.” Council then moved to demolish or remove properties as recommended, carried the motions by voice vote, closed the public hearing and adjourned the meeting.
