The court took a series of administrative votes on July 27. It approved vouchers as processed by the county auditor (check numbers 223054–223269 and transfers noted) totaling $3,785,011.06. Commissioners also approved an amendment to a property exchange (Line Avenue) to allow the county to add 1900 Line Avenue to the county’s insurance and share closing costs with the city; the swap passed 5–0.
Other approvals included a request from the JP courts to purchase four iPads at a combined cost of $3,878 from the JP IT fund to replace devices that are nine to ten years old, and the court appointed a commissioner to an evaluation committee for an RFQ for forensic pathology/expert witness services. The court also approved a demonstration authorization allowing vendor Zactax to receive county sales‑tax data from the Texas Comptroller for evaluation of potential revenue‑sharing analysis tools.
