Staff said the county is in the process of implementing a new ERP; payroll will be the first ERP module to go live and timekeeping will migrate later in the year.
Judy (Human Resources) gave the price on the record: "It's... $19,081." Commissioners and staff discussed that some departments (sheriff, district courts and elected offices) use different time periods and that additional TimeClock Plus components might be needed if the ERP cannot fully replicate those work-period configurations. To avoid a gap, the court approved the one-year extension so the county retains an operational timekeeping system while the ERP roll-out continues.
Commissioners asked staff to confirm budget placement for the extension in the 2026–27 budget and to report back to the court before next year’s budgeting cycle on whether the ERP's native timekeeping will replace TimeClock Plus.
