Board approves salary schedule, contracts, policy items, FFA calendar and counselor funding

At its Nov. 10 meeting the Calipatria Unified Board approved a bundle of personnel, program and operational items. Among the approvals: the 2025–2027 Management, Supervisory and Confidential Salary Schedule; revised 2025–26 management and supervisory employment contracts; an MOU with the Imperial County Office of Education for 2025–26 ELD professional learning; Fremont Primary School’s 2025–26 Title I school-level Parent and Family Engagement Policy; and an art mural for Fremont Primary School. All motions passed by roll call vote of 6 ayes, 1 absent unless otherwise noted.
The Board also approved the FFA calendar for 2025–26 and committed to fund a .5 FTE School-Based Mental Health School Counselor for 2025–26. A placement agreement with Western Governors University covering 2025–2028 was approved, and a single interdistrict attendance petition (S.
