Lenore Brakefield of Woodward Pires & Lombardo, P.A., summarized the Village of Estero's position: "the Village of Estero’s stance is that it does not need to maintain the road west of U.S. 41 to the Clubhouse but Mr. Pires thinks it is the County’s responsibility." District Counsel Tony Pires said he will send a letter to the Village and County counsel asserting the Village owns the road; Mr. Willis had previously emailed Johnson Engineering documents confirming ownership information.
Mrs. Adams distributed MRI's proposal to repair driveway damage that MRI caused within the CDD easement; MRI credited the CDD $10,500 on what was described as a $22,500 project. On motion by Mr. Merrill and seconded by Chair Bob Schultz, the Board approved MRI Construction Proposal #514 for driveway repairs at 21320 Pelican Sound Drive in the amount of $12,000.
