River Ridge board appoints Keith Merrill to vacant Seat 1
Summary
The board unanimously appointed longtime resident Keith Merrill to fill the vacant Seat 1 (term through Nov. 2026); Mrs. Adams administered the Oath of Office and staff and counsel reviewed Sunshine Law, ethics training, and required filings.
Chair Bob Schultz nominated Keith Merrill to fill the vacant Seat 1; the nomination was seconded by Robert Twombly and the board voted unanimously to appoint Mr. Merrill. Mr. Schultz said Mr. Merrill "has contributed a great deal to the community in his numerous HOA Board positions," and the board thanked Kevin Ofenloch for his willingness to serve.
Mrs. Adams, a notary, administered the Oath of Office to Mr. Merrill and staff and District Counsel Tony Pires reviewed required ethics training, Form 1 filing, the Sunshine Law and Form 8B conflict disclosures. No competing nominations were made and the board confirmed the appointment during the meeting record.
