Council approves contract increases for West Carson final design and Newton Street land purchases

As the chief engineer said, "This is for the West Carson Street Bridal project. We have completed the preliminary engineering phase of the project, which is what was initially authorized. And now we have completed negotiation for the scope of work for final design. And that's what we're adding through this contract." The committee voted to recommend approval of the supplemental agreements and property‑sale authorizations.
