Planning commission approves final plat for Lot 12 in Coral Ridge Commerce Park; lot to be rezoned to PUD

The Coralville Planning & Zoning Commission on July 1 recommended approval of the final plat for Lot 12 in Coral Ridge Commerce Park, voting 5-0. Staff described Lot 12 as 2.46 acres intended for a future office and multi-tenant commercial building.
Community Development Director Dave Johnson explained the lot’s location relative to Lot 10 and said staff finds the plat conforms to the approved preliminary plat. Johnson said the lot will be rezoned to a PUD and that the commission should expect a site plan and rezoning application for the development in the future. The motion to recommend approval was moved by Commissioner Dokun, seconded by Commissioner Wenman, and carried unanimously.
