Milford City Council approved an addendum to the golf-course maintenance agreement on June 16 that increases compensation and changes fee arrangements.
The addendum provides an additional $1,000 per month for maintenance during June–September, increases green fees from $3 to $5 per five-hole round, requires additional mowing staff and establishes a mandatory equipment-care protocol. The addendum specifies that tournament green fees will revert to the city except for the July 4 tournament that was already under way with the association. Council Member Ian Spaulding moved to approve the addendum; Council Member Russell Smith seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
Council then adopted Resolution 03-2026 implementing the green-fee increase. The council recorded no dissent and did not ask to revisit the contract terms in the meeting record.
