Assistant Town Clerk Bonnie McCrillis introduced Jan Fifield to the Selectboard and attendees. Fifield, who retired from nursing in 2023 and joined the Lions Club, said she had a liver transplant last year and has chosen to pursue clerical work; she will take election training with McCrillis at the end of June and will keep the office open while McCrillis is on vacation at the end of May.
McCrillis explained the staffing transition and that Fifield has begun participating in community nursing and local organizations. The board did not take formal action beyond accepting the introduction and noting training plans.
