Following executive session on April 13, the Salina Board of Education voted to hire Blake Crawford as high school principal and Haylie Williams as the district’s agriculture teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The motions to hire each candidate passed with votes recorded among the three members present.
The board also accepted letters of resignation with effective dates listed in the minutes: Mandy Leach, effective May 14, 2026; Johnathan Teague, Monique Sinibaldi, Michealle Johnson and Vicki Marang, effective May 15, 2026; Keri Mills, effective May 22, 2026; and Carm Bennett, effective June 30, 2026.
