The Salina Board of Education unanimously approved its consent agenda at the March 9, 2026 regular meeting, adopting minutes from Feb. 9 and several fiscal and program items. The consent package included new encumbrances of $4,750.70 to the General Fund (PO# 219–224 & 50155) and $890.00 to the Building Fund (PO# 36–37), fundraiser requests, and contracts for middle and high school cheerleaders for the 2026–27 school year.
The board also recorded approval of the Title VI Parent Committee bylaws as accepted by the IPC on Feb. 26, 2026, and authorized the ROCMND Agreement for the First Time Offender Program for 2026–27. Board President Leroy Monk moved the consent agenda and the motion passed with votes recorded as Casey McWhirt — Yes; Jarred Sorum — Yes; Jackie Ball — Yes; Greg Rice — Yes; and Leroy Monk — Yes.
