Board approves hires, mentor stipends and leaves of absence

The board also amended Krista Portelli's start date to Aug. 28, 2024, approved Alyssa Schulte as an after-school detention monitor at $25 per hour, and recorded a leave of absence (employee 5127) with FMLA dates beginning Oct. 15 and an approximate return date later in October 2024 (pending physician recommendation). Approval was by roll call with two members absent.
