Taloga board accepts resignation, approves multiple hires and contracts for 2025–26

The board also approved adjunct appointments for the 2025–2026 year (Angela Hicks — Music/Art; Dusty Lankford — Psychology), hired Nikole Nickels as school counselor, Justin Smith as coach, and approved Jaydon Whitley as summer help. Motions to hire and contract were made and seconded by board members and passed unanimously where recorded.
Other personnel items — including approval of the 2025–2026 pay schedule, extra-duty pay and committee assignments — were approved as part of the board's routine annual staffing and policy updates.
