Representatives of Eden Youth Sports asked the Selectboard on May 27 to reword the town's youth-sports policy so it more clearly specifies who is eligible to play in Eden programs.
The group said that if a soccer camp is run under the EYSC umbrella it would be covered by EYSC insurance and that Eden children would have priority for enrollment during the signup window. The board agreed to review and revise the policy language at its next meeting.
The committee also raised a logistics question about moving a pile of dirt near the fields; board members suggested placing the material behind the old bathrooms in the tree line so it will be readily available for field work.
