Selectboard finds missing section of beach fencing, asks installer to finish and managers to move firepits

Selectboard members inspected newly installed fencing at the town beach and found one section remained uninstalled. The board agreed to contact the person who installed the fence to request completion of the missing section.
"We will be reaching out to the person who put the fence up to see if we can get him to come back in and put the last set in," the minutes state. The board also "asked the beach managers to move the firepits to back behind the fencing." The directive is recorded as an instruction to site managers; no formal penalty or deadline was specified.
The boardinspected the beach as part of the site visits that evening and discussed installation completeness and visitor safety. Staff will reach out to the installer and notify beach management of the requested relocation of the firepits.
