As she put it, "crowdfunding and soliciting of people are really kind of the same thing," and staff added explicit wording so principals and booster groups have consistent guidance.
Board members asked whether the district provides a boilerplate form for fundraising activity; staff confirmed there is a standard form from the county office to ensure forms and loss statements are consistently prepared. The board accepted the clarified policy language as part of the consent items.
