Trustee Todd Lawson told the board he is coordinating replacement signs for the village park, including decisions about how many signs to install and where to place them. Lawson also said he has a street map showing sidewalks that need repair and referenced historic ballfield names (Withers Field 1 and Withers Field 2), which the mayor said he wants to preserve.
Public Works Superintendent Kyle Langenfeld reported an incident in which Sangamon County Highway Department struck a fire hydrant while mowing ditches, and "it was repaired quickly." The board did not direct additional action at the meeting beyond noting the repair.
