Loami board adopts ordinance to create standing committees and assigns members

Trustee Christina Stark moved to adopt Ordinance No. 2025-06, "An Ordinance Amending Chapter 1, Article 2 of the Village’s Code of Ordinances to Establish Committees of the Board of Trustees and other Actions in Connection Therewith." Trustee Todd Lawson seconded; the ordinance passed on a unanimous roll-call vote.
After adopting the ordinance, Trustee Billy Cohen moved to approve Resolution 2025-03 to make committee assignments under the new structure; Trustee Stark seconded and the resolution also passed unanimously. Mayor Lambert encouraged collaboration among the new committees.
