Township Manager Judith Danko presented a manager’s report highlighting staffing and grants work and recent operational activity. She told the board that staff facilitated employee enrollment in a new medical plan that yielded a 2.2% savings and recounted grant applications submitted for municipal equipment and building renovation projects.
"Recently, I wrote and submitted grants for an f 7 50 dump truck with a salt spreader plow for $205,000 and a municipal building renovations grant for 1000000 dollars," Danko said during the report. She also reported zoning processed 267 permits as of Dec. 31, 2025, and noted continuing collaboration with the township engineer and contractor on the Headquarters Road Bridge rehabilitation; staff said the bridge project remains on schedule after recent site visits with a structural engineer.
Why it matters: the grant requests and permit workload signal ongoing capital and operational priorities for 2026, including efforts to secure funding for equipment and municipal‑building work that could affect budgets and procurement timelines.
