The Eden Selectboard voted June 24 to accept an audit proposal from Sullivan Powers and Company after town staff reported only one firm responded to the solicitation. Tim Bullard moved to accept the proposal and Clayton Whittemore seconded; the motion was approved.
The board also approved the appointment of Marvin Whitcomb as Fire Warden for a five-year term. Ricky Morin moved for the appointment, which Clayton Whittemore seconded. In other administrative business the board signed four orders and authorized Melissa Whitcomb to pay bills for the rest of the month following a motion by Ricky Morin and a second from Clayton Whittemore.
