Planning Commission presents town plan updates; energy chapter most changed

The commissioners told the board that Chapter 5, which addresses energy policy, contains the most substantial proposed changes. The Planning Commission plans to return with chapters 6 and 7 for Selectboard review at the next meeting.
The board also met with Lamoille County Planning Commission (LCPC) representatives Tasha Wallis and Seth Jensen to discuss town goals and a draft map; LCPC will revise the draft map and return it for final review. The presentation signals active coordination between local and county planning bodies on land‑use priorities.
