Fayston mobilizes volunteers for Green Up Day and Green Valley Rally on May 2

The commission confirmed Green Up Day will be held Saturday, May 2 with volunteers collecting litter along valley roads; Patty Pasley is coordinating sign-ups with Bri Skoldberg and clean-up bags will be available in advance or at the Welcome Center on the morning of the event.
At the Welcome Center the Green Valley Rally will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will include a BBQ for Green Up Day and steward MRV volunteers from noon to 2 p.m. The MRVBI Bear Fair will include tables and outreach on composting, fencing and other stewardship topics during the rally.
