Davis County Health Department showcases Davis Links to Sunset City council

Davis County’s Community Outreach Planner presented Davis Links, an online directory of more than 2,000 programs and services and asked Sunset City to help promote the tool through city channels and upcoming Sunset Fun Days outreach.
Marcie Clark, Community Outreach Planner with the Davis County Health Department, told the Sunset City Council that Davis Links is a centralized online directory intended to connect residents with local services. "The directory contained more than 2,000 programs and services for residents of all ages, including maternal health, childcare, older adult services, food, housing, legal assistance, health resources, and many additional services," Clark said.
Clark outlined features available to residents and providers: keyword and ZIP-code search, content in 130 languages, a provider portal for agencies to claim listings and monitor referrals, and 211 integration for callers who prefer phone assistance. She shared usage metrics since the public launch in August 2025, reporting more than 12,000 searches between January and June 2026 and noting food, emergency financial assistance, housing, health, and legal services as the most-searched topics.
Clark asked the City to promote Davis Links through digital signage, the city website, newsletters, and Sunset Fun Days information booths; Mayor Scott Wiggill and council members agreed assistance would be helpful. The presenter noted that promotional materials, program cards, and technical support were available to municipal partners, and Recorder Nicole Supp was provided contact information for follow-up.
