Larimer County to offer GLP‑1 HRA with $200 monthly deposit starting Aug. 1

Larimer County benefits staff said the county will start offering a GLP‑1 health reimbursement arrangement (HRA) on Aug. 1 that will be administered by Rocky Mountain Reserve. "We are here today to talk about the GLP‑one HRA that we are offering starting August 1," said Jennifer Whitener, benefits manager with Larimer County. The HRA is employer funded and will deposit $200 per participant on the first of each month.
Kelly Palmer, senior account manager at Rocky Mountain Reserve, said the deposits accumulate and can be claimed monthly or held for a single annual submission. "The HRA is going to cover $200 a month, meaning on the 1st of each month, you will get a deposit into your account of $200 per participant," Palmer said. Whitener added that the program is budgeted for 2027 and that the annual cap will be $1,000 for Aug.–Dec. 2026 and $2,400 for calendar year 2027. Claims must be substantiated with receipts showing date of service, that the charge is for a prescription and the person receiving it; Palmer gave a filing deadline of Jan. 30, 2027, for this year’s claims.
