Selectboard tells Camp Road property owners to clear nonpermanent items from right of way

The Eden Selectboard met April 22 and discussed a right-of-way survey on Camp Road with surveyor Matt Reed. The board told a property owner that "the town is not asking anyone to move permanent structures, but any other objects need to be moved from the right of way for plowing and grading." The town will place fiberglass stakes marking the right of way and will notify owners about stake-placement dates.
A resident asked whether Camp Road could be made a Class 4 road or converted to one-way; the board said it would look into the process and report back. The board emphasized it will not survey every Class 3 road now but will consider additional surveys if problems arise. Melissa Whitcomb was asked to order the stakes and the town clerk's office will accept input from property owners on placement.
