The Winside Public Schools Board of Education met July 13, 2026, and approved financial reports and claims, personnel actions, and several purchases and contracts for the 2026–2027 school year. The board approved claims that included $434,210.22 from the General Fund, $169.65 from the Special Building Fund and $16,835.55 from the Lunch Fund.
Superintendent April Knust was approved as the district's school director for local, state and federal programs and as the affirmative action officer for 2026–2027. The board also waived first readings and approved final readings of the student and staff handbooks and approved contracts and expenditures including a $15,000 HUDL contract and $10,370.44 for Dibels 8 screeners.
