Board approves street closures for Downshift for Syndrome car show on Aug. 2

Monica Burns, deputy city clerk for Richmond City, presented the request and outlined the road segments to be closed. “They're requesting the closure of North 6th Street from East Main Street to North A Street, from North 7th Street, from East Main Street to North A, and North Service Road behind Elstral Plaza Stage,” Burns said.
A board member moved to approve the closure and the Chair seconded; the motion carried by voice vote. The closures are annual and were presented as part of routine street-closure approvals.
