Richmond’s National Night Out canceled, clerk tells Board of Works

Monica Burns, deputy city clerk for Richmond City, told the Board the RPD National Night Out scheduled for Aug. 1 had been canceled.
“That got canceled,” Burns said when the item was raised during the street-closure portion of the agenda. The Board took no further action on that item and moved on to other annual event closures.
The cancellation was announced as part of a routine presentation of annual street-closure requests; Burns noted Aaron could not attend and had asked her to present the items.
