Board OKs festival, prom venues, RBT support, PD contract and pool rental

The board approved several operational contracts and event arrangements for the 2024–25 school year during the Sept. 24 meeting. The RFH Homecoming Festival (Oct. 17, 5:00–9:00 p.m.) was authorized to be sponsored by SGA; contracts for Junior Prom (The Gramercy on April 4, 2025) and Senior Prom (Jumping Brook Country Club on May 22, 2025) were approved. The board also approved a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) services contract with New Age Behavioral Consultants at $80 per hour not to exceed 187.5 hours and $15,000 total for the school year to support students during extracurricular activities.
Professional development and facility contracts were likewise accepted: Future Design School will provide staff professional development on Feb. 11, 2025 for $22,500, and the board approved a pool rental contract with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Monmouth County for $8,533 for the 2024–25 season. These approvals passed as part of the finance items on unanimous roll-call votes. The addendum later approved a $32,887.50 ice‑rental contract with RB Generals Hockey Club LLC pending schedule confirmation.
