"If your system is good enough, if you meet our specification, you get somewhere around $2,000," Jamie Anthony said. He also described paying contractors to perform Manual J calculations and airflow/duct checks and said those steps would be required for the sizing and duct incentives. Anthony noted the amounts were still being refined but gave the ballpark figures to help utilities and contractors plan.
