Trustees approve new footbridge at Crystal Falls funded by Kirkpatrick family fund

Staff said the materials for the bridge will be funded by the Kirkpatrick family fund and that construction would be performed by volunteers with oversight from the committee.
Trustee (speaker 5) moved to approve the proposal and the motion carried by voice vote. Staff said the bridge will provide hikers another option to cross the falls during adverse conditions and that the town’s right-of-way and liability considerations were addressed in the committee’s recommendation.
