Commissioner Paul Quinlan said he reviewed the 2020 Town Plan against the 2014 version and used AI tools to assist in the comparison. He reported that the two plans share many similarities — including maps and some tables — but that the 2020 plan contains more emphasis on stormwater management and flood resilience.
Quinlan recommended the commission focus on where the plan has changed and which sections now require updated data or policy language. He also identified the Recreation chapter and specific items for survey follow-up. The commission recorded his presentation during its Jan. 12, 2026 meeting.
