The Fayston Planning Commission voted on Jan. 12, 2026 to authorize Zoning Administrator Jason Wilson to send the town's 2020 Town Plan to the Central Vermont Regional Planning Commission for consultation. Chair Langford Davidson moved the authorization; Freddie Graves seconded and the minutes record the motion as approved by the commission.
Commissioners said the step will allow CVRPC to advise on required elements for the next update after members reviewed multiple chapters for outdated material and data. The commission also noted that follow-up survey work is needed to collect current community input before making substantive revisions. The next Planning Commission meeting is tentatively scheduled for Feb. 9, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. at the Fayston Town Offices.
