Warren County adopts FY26/27 General Fund and SPLOST budgets totaling $6.54 million in General Fund and significant SPLOST allocations

During the June 18 meeting, Chairman Graham presented several FY26/27 budget resolutions. The board adopted Resolution #2026-06-01, approving a General Fund budget of $6,543,680 for FY2026/2027. Commissioners also approved Resolution #2026-06-02 adopting SPLOST 2022–2027 allocations that include Economic Development $728,000; Emergency Services $515,000; Recreation $262,000; and Water and Sewer $320,000.
Additionally, the board adopted Resolution #2026-06-03 for Special Accounts (including Drug Abuse Treatment & Education $66,000; Jail Fund $108,000; E911 Fund $210,000) and recorded TSPLOST at $1,770,000. The board also approved Resolution #2026-06-04 for remaining SPLOST 2017–2022 funds, including Inert Landfill/Solid Waste $3,346.72 and Economic Development $113,956.60.
