Commission approves one-day liquor license for Boondocks event in Worthing

Applicant Greg Abbott introduced himself to the board: "I'm Greg Abbott, owner of Boondocks. Looking for 1 day to bid for Kyle's son's wedding dance," and answered commissioners' procedural questions; no opponents or proponents appeared. A motion to approve the application was made, seconded and carried by roll call.
The license authorizes alcohol service only for the single event and was approved during the meeting's consent/permit section. Staff will process the paperwork and the county auditor will finalize any required permits or conditions prior to the event.
