Commission approves new long-term hangar leases at Marvoski Lincoln County Airport

The Lincoln County Commission on July 30 approved new lease agreements for hangars at the Marvoski Lincoln County Airport, replacing existing short-term arrangements with 25-year leases at updated rates.
Joe Meador, deputy state's attorney, told commissioners the contracts are renewals for people already occupying the hangars and reflected updated lease rates adopted earlier this year. "These are agreements that we updated for lease rates at the start of this year... these individuals are people who are already out at the hangars and have agreed to renew their leases for the new rate and for the 25 year lease agreement," Meador said. No members of the public spoke in opposition.
A commissioner moved to approve the termination of the prior leases and execution of the new agreements; another commissioner seconded. The board called the roll and the motion carried, authorizing the chair to execute the documents and complete the record. The action was taken during the public hearing portion of the meeting and does not change current hangar occupancy, according to staff.
