At its Nov. 24 meeting the Dixie School District board accepted a staff resignation after the superintendent presented it; Tabitha Crenshaw moved to accept and Javin Berg seconded. Later the board noted an ongoing SEBB insurance issue with a past employee but determined an executive session to review a public employee’s performance was no longer necessary. Chair Lisa Davis moved to strike the session; Javin Berg seconded and the motion carried.
Also during New Business, Superintendent Jacob Bang officiated the swearing-in of Melissa Lambert as a new board member; the minutes state her term will begin in December 2025. The minutes do not include the name of the resigning staff member, the specifics of the SEBB insurance matter, or the oath language used at the swearing-in.
