The Duncan Unified District Governing Board approved a Proposition 301 Plan Addendum and a package of extra pay stipends at its Aug. 11 meeting.
Superintendent Eldon Merrell described the 301 addendum by saying "our plan is to get 100% of the money to our teachers." Member Bruce Lunt moved to approve the addendum; Member Wade Wagley seconded and the motion carried as Motion No.23 (25-26) with attending members voting Yes and Member Hughes absent.
The board also approved extra pay stipends for 2025–26 (Motion No.24, 25-26); the transcript notes additional mentor stipends may be added at the next meeting. The transcript does not include dollar amounts, allocation formulas, or individual stipend levels.
