Pleasant View planners recommended and the Planning Commission approved a conditional-use permit on March 26 for a fast-food restaurant in an existing building at 1142 W 2700 N. Staff confirmed signage will require a separate permit and that parking will be joint shared parking.
Petitioner Josh Cook confirmed the drive-through would be used and that the location expects to use third-party delivery services: "third-party delivery services such as DoorDash and Uber will be used but they do not have personal fleet," he said. Commissioners asked whether the drive-through was included in the approved plan and staff confirmed it had been previously approved.
There were no public comments. Commissioner Dean Stokes moved for approval; Commissioner Manya Speelman seconded and the vote was unanimous. Conditions of approval follow staff recommendations; signage will be reviewed under a separate sign permit.
