The Pleasant View City Planning Commission voted unanimously to approve a site plan for a commercial flex development at 2747 N Parkland Blvd. The proposal calls for two buildings with seven garage-type units, each paired with office space and a rear yard accessed through pull-through garages. The minutes record that each garage door is 14 feet by 14 feet and that one unit will include a screened outdoor storage area consistent with City Code standards.
Planner Tammy Eveson told the commission that developer review comments were received the morning of the meeting and that final approval is contingent on addressing staff recommendations and receiving Development Review Committee (DRC) sign-off. Commissioner Chad Kotter moved to approve, Commissioner David Gossner seconded, and the motion passed unanimously. The petitioner, Jordan Watson, explained the design intent and noted the project was previously proposed as a Commercial PUD but was reconfigured to condominiumized units after denial due to a three-acre minimum.
