Committee ratifies member's PUC responses on ITW Route 140 tower; hearing possible

"We think you should just deny it. But if you won't just deny it on that, then we request a hearing," the committee member said, describing the written submissions and the 15-day response window the PUC provides to interveners. The member warned that a hearing would complicate the process and likely require legal advice if the commission must appear as an intervener.
Commissioners voted to ratify the written responses and authorized the representative to proceed. The commission did not set a formal hearing date; members said they expect the PUC to accept most interveners but that next steps depend on the PUC's decision.
