Resident urges quick fix for uneven community-center ramp before Nov. 22 event

A Tinmouth resident (Speaker 7) told the Select Board on Oct. 9 that the handicap ramp into the community center is "uneven" and "difficult to walk on," and said the town's Nov. 22 game supper will include attendees who use wheelchairs and therefore need a safe ramp.
Cheryl (Speaker 2) confirmed the ramp issue had been brought to Tim's attention and said she would follow up. Board members agreed the buildings-and-grounds committee would likely examine the ramp first and then the full board as needed. The board noted procurement thresholds and bid requirements may affect how quickly repairs can be contracted.
