"They did pass the resolution 26,443, which will fund the splash pad, in the amount amount that is included in your packet for the the size and the amenities that are in, on that particular splash pad," Eric said. He added he had just received the draft agreement and would have staff and legal review it to ensure the city's commitments for water and electricity and the county's operational responsibilities are properly documented. Commissioners and staff reviewed site options and agreed the location near restrooms and the Hicks band shelter provided utilities and parking access.
The agreement is in draft; staff emphasized they will ensure liability coverage is addressed as part of the lease and final documents.
